QuSecure Puts Its Post-Quantum Platform on AWS’s Intelligence Marketplace
QuSecure has listed its QuProtect R3 platform on Amazon Web Services’ Marketplace for the U.S. Intelligence Community, a curated catalog known as ICMP that vets software for government buyers. The move gives federal agencies an easier way to find and purchase the post-quantum cryptography (PQC) tool. It is a new sales channel rather than a contract or a deployment.
What QuProtect R3 does
QuProtect R3 is a PQC and crypto-agility platform. Crypto-agility means being able to swap the encryption algorithms a system relies on without rebuilding it, which is important as older methods become vulnerable to future quantum attacks.
According to the July 14 press release, the tool helps an agency find where it uses cryptography across its networks, inventory that use, enforce policy, and migrate to quantum-resistant algorithms without redesigning applications or replacing hardware. QuSecure says it covers enterprise IT, tactical networks, and mission-critical operations.
Why the AWS listing is important
The listing itself is minor. It makes QuProtect R3 available through a government storefront, not a sign that any intelligence agency has adopted it. QuSecure’s Brian Cunningham framed it as giving more federal customers access to the technology.
The backdrop is what gives it relevance. U.S. federal agencies are under direction to move toward post-quantum cryptography now that NIST has finalized its first standards, and the early, unglamorous step in that shift is discovering where encryption is buried across sprawling systems, which is exactly what tools like this target. That creates steady demand for migration software regardless of any single listing.
QuSecure also refers to itself as a global PQC product leader, citing a Frost & Sullivan recognition, which is the company’s own characterization rather than an independent verdict on this product.
