Keyfactor Builds a Reseller Channel Around Post-Quantum Migration

Keyfactor has expanded its partner program to help resellers and consultants sell post-quantum cryptography services. The company, which makes digital-trust and certificate-management software, is giving partners training, certifications, a hands-on PQC lab, and cloud-marketplace support so they can build migration practices for customers. The program rolls out in phases through the second half of 2026.

How Keyfactor is preparing partners for PQC migration

Stripped of the marketing, this is a channel-sales expansion, not a product or a technology development. The quantum relevance is indirect: it’s about the services ecosystem forming around the eventual shift to quantum-resistant encryption, and not about quantum computing itself. According to the July 22 press release, partners get tools to offer assessment, migration, and managed services, plus support for selling through AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud marketplaces.

The genuinely interesting signal is what the move implies. Vendors don’t build reseller channels around problems that are still purely theoretical. Keyfactor’s channel chief Louise McEvoy called the PQC transition “one of the largest technology and services opportunities our industry has seen in decades,” which is the company’s framing, but the fact that it’s investing in a partner ecosystem at all suggests the migration is maturing from a research concern into a commercial market.

Importance of partner expansion for post-quantum security

Everything here is Keyfactor’s own commercial positioning, including the “unprecedented demand” language, and the two partner endorsements are testimonials. All things considered, the post-quantum migration is starting to support an industry of advisers and integrators, not just cryptographers.
