Qtonic Releases Q4 2026 Quantum Cybersecurity Report
Qtonic Quantum Corp announced the release of its 92-page document, State of Quantum Cybersecurity | Q4 2026, according to a press release. The company presents this report as a resource for post-quantum migration, supplier evidence review, and cryptographic discovery.
Company Claims Regarding the Report’s Contents
The press release states that the report covers hybrid TLS handshakes and post-quantum parameter performance. Qtonic asserts that all 80 local TLS handshakes across four configurations successfully completed certificate, hostname, and application-data checks.
Additionally, it notes that 40 hybrid handshakes utilized post-quantum key exchange as they were maintaining classical server authentication. A second study, according to the company, details 18,000 operation timings across six post-quantum parameter sets, with 6,000 valid cycles.
Eliot Jung, identified as Qtonic’s Vice Chairman for Cybersecurity, is quoted emphasizing that a successful hybrid handshake “answers one question about a system” but “does not settle how that system authenticates the other party.” This observation highlights a valid point: buyers require separate evidence for both key exchange and authentication.
The company also links the report to its proprietary products: QScout for cryptographic discovery, QStrike for testing, and QSolve for migration advisory. It references QShield as a “packet-protection implementation within SAFE/29,” which it reports as “built and operating.”
Qtonic’s own release clarifies that this statement is distinct from independent validation or deployment authorization.

Though the release mentions ML-DSA-65 and CycloneDX 1.7 CBOM, it does not clarify if the report aligns with NIST standards FIPS 203, 204, and 205, which form the current foundation for post-quantum work in the process of standardization by regulators, including the EU’s forthcoming Quantum Act.
