Q2B Copenhagen 2026 Sets September Quantum Conference
QC Ware, the organizer of the Q2B conference series, will host its 2026 Copenhagen event on September 9-10 at Øksnehallen. This announcement focuses on the conference details, including speakers and sponsors. Notably, Resonance and GQI are among the session hosts.
About the event
According to the August 19 press release, the conference is organized by QC Ware and co-hosted by a Danish Consortium comprising the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings, and the investment firm 55 North. This consortium also serves as the event’s Platinum Sponsor, indicating their vested interest in promoting Denmark as a quantum hub. The program will cover quantum computing, sensing, communications, security, and AI, as well as feature keynotes, panels, technical workshops, and a startup pitch competition managed by the BioInnovation Institute.
Susanne Hyldelund, State Secretary for Trade and Investments at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed Denmark’s ambition to “connect international partners with the Danish quantum ecosystem,” a statement reflecting the government’s investment agenda. QC Ware CEO Matt Johnson framed the event around the transition from research to commercial application, a common theme in conference messaging.
The speaker lineup includes representatives from the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Microsoft Quantum, Fujitsu, AstraZeneca, and Copenhagen’s NQCP quantum foundry. A day-two venture capital panel, hosted by Needham & Company, will feature investors such as Quantonation, Deep33, and 55 North. Pharmaceutical companies AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Merck will discuss chemistry and drug-related work.
Not included in the announcement
Beyond the speaker and sponsor lists, the announcement doesn’t contain any funding figures, new product launches, or research data. Exhibitors named include Microsoft, IQM, Quantinuum, Atom Computing, and AWS, among others. The event signifies a coordinated government and industry commitment to Denmark’s quantum sector, backed by significant funding from the Novo foundations. The ultimate commercial outcomes of this initiative will be a subject for future reports.
